Description
Download IPI's second funded Research Report: A Meta-Analytic Synthesis of Partnering Literature in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Industry (IPI Meta Analysis). A February 15, 2015 report prepared by: Sinem Mollaoglu (Korkmaz), PhD, LEED® AP and Anthony Sparkling, Doctoral Student at Michigan State University's Construction Management Program.
This report summarizes more than 30 years of research in construction partnering and includes a detailed analysis of more than 70 studies from professional journals and research periodicals. A number of findings emerged from the IPI Meta Analysis that can be applied directly to your partnering program, including that culture is fundamental to success, teams must assess owner readiness, teams must use partnering tools and measure outcomes to improve results and that further research is needed
A key outcome of the research is the Partnering Project Delivery Framework. This framework diagrams the structure of the partnering process and specifies the various elements that are essential to achieve success – from owner readiness through program level outcomes.
