Ron Tollison, P.E.
Division Chief of North Region Project Development
Caltrans
Ron is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and possesses a BS Degree in Civil Engineering from California State University Chico, and a MS Degree in Transportation Management from San Jose State University.
Ron brings over 23 years of engineering and project delivery experience to the North Region with 7 spent at private consulting and local government, and over 16 with Caltrans.
Ron serves as Division Chief of North Region Project Development (NRPD), which includes offices in Sacramento, Marysville, Redding, and Eureka. NRPD encompasses Design, Surveys, Right of Way Engineering, Landscape Architecture, and Engineering Services.
Ron started his Caltrans career in North Region Construction and served as a Resident Engineer in the Yuba City field construction office for over 5 years on challenging projects such as Tudor Bypass and Feather River Bridge on Sutter 99.
Ron moved to North Region Project Development (NRPD) in 2014 and has held roles as Design PE, Design Senior with the first CMGC project in North Region, and Design Office Chief, as well as his current assignment.
Ron is focused on improving outcomes through communication, collaboration, and partnering.
Paul Crotty
President and Founder
Paul Crotty is president and founder of Crew Consulting Group, a partnering and facilitation firm specializing in the construction industry with seasoned experience supporting complex and challenging projects, nationwide.
Specifically, Mr. Crotty works with executives, project management teams, and extended stakeholder groups to develop and enhance the effective collaboration of human systems. This, in turn, aligns and empowers teams to produce measurable results with efficiency and momentum.
Certified as a Master Facilitator by the International Partnering Institute (IPI), Mr. Crotty has supported billions of dollars of construction projects with every type of delivery method in almost every market sector. He is a turnaround expert for complex, high-stakes, and problem construction projects.
Mr. Crotty’s specialty is in designing and facilitating partnering programs for 100’s of diverse project teams, internationally and across the U.S. By working with diverse teams throughout his career, Mr. Crotty has developed the ability to see the big picture, adapt to the reality on the ground and quickly lead a coordinated approach to reach successful outcomes.
George Delano
Project Executive
Granite Construction
George Delano is a registered civil engineer in California and has been working in heavy civil construction for 43 years on highways, bridges, dams, railroads, and airfields. He began his career with Caltrans Structure Construction in 1980 and received his Professional Engineer license in 1983. Since 1985 he has worked for several contractors, including noted bridge builder CC Meyers, managing numerous large and fast-track jobs statewide including the earthquake repair of the Santa Monica Freeway in 1994. Mr. Delano also spent several years consulting with the rapid-setting concrete industry helping pioneer and implement the use of rapid-setting concrete for pavement rehabilitation with Caltrans. Mr. Delano joined Granite Construction in 2006 and has served as Project Manager on contracts totaling over $1 billion, including four CMGC contracts since 2014. He is currently the Granite's CMGC Project Executive for CMGC contracts in the California Valley Region.
