Watry Design, Inc.

WatryDesignInc-logoIPI is pleased to welcome  Watry Design, Inc., a national architecture, engineering, and planning firm focused on how we park our cars!  The innovative firm based in San Jose, Newport Beach, and Austin, Texas delivers elegant parking structure design and is focused on partnering with highly collaborative teams to deliver outstanding projects.  In 2012, they teamed with IPI Member Webcor as design/builders of a $25M 5-level parking structure at American River College in Sacramento, CA.  In 2010, Watry contributed structural engineering expertise to one of the largest parking garages in the US with the 1.8 million square foot Consolidated Rental Car Garage (ConRAC) and public parking structure at the Norman Y. Mineta International Airport (San Jose).  The seven-level structure, which holds 3350 vehicles, was constructed by IPI-Member Hensel Phelps for IPI Member City of San Jose, and designed in a collaboration between Watry Design and IPI Award-winning Fentress Architects.  ConRAC has not only gained notoriety for its size and complexity, it also features a massive piece of artwork called "Hands" by artist Christian Moeller.  IPI greatly looks forward to serving Watry Design, Inc. and continuing to spread the word on Collaborative Partnering!
