Apply for a Partnering Award
John L. Martin Partnered Project of the Year (PPY) Awards – Diamond, Ruby, and Sapphire Levels
The PPY Awards recognize teams who distinguish themselves by implementing IPI’s best practices for an integrated partnering program and exemplify high-trust working relationships on their projects. Winning teams will demonstrate commitment to the elements of the integrated partnering program, achieve excellent results and deliver an outstanding project. Judging factors include success in applying IPI's best practices and principals of partnering, project results achieved, inclusion of all stakeholders and project participants in the process, problems overcome, lessons learned, and evidence of a high trust culture. The application form and evaluation use a points-based system with teams eligible to receive awards at one of three levels: Diamond, Ruby, and Sapphire.

Partnering Champion Award
The Partnering Champion Award is the highest honor presented by IPI. The award recognizes an organization that embraces and models the IPI mission to develop high trust relationships and organizational cultures. Organizations presented with this award will distinguished themselves with consistent, long-term commitment to IPI’s best practices for an integrated partnering program and the collaborative process. Nominations must include evidence of an internal culture change and a profound impact on changing the cultures of external organizations. Additional criteria include the methodology used for the application of IPI’s best practices and the principals of partnering, demonstrated results, efficiencies obtained, problems overcome, and lessons learned. A multi-year track record of successful application of an integrated partnering program are expected. This prestigious award is presented only in those years that a deserving organization is nominated.
Strategic Partnering Achievement Award
The Strategic Partnering Achievement Award recognizes teams who successfully apply IPI’s best practices for an integrated partnering program to either an internal or an external strategic partnering initiative. Winning organizations will demonstrate commitment to creating agreement(s) using the integrated partnering program elements to achieve significant results from high trust relationships. Evaluation factors include success in applying IPI's best practices and the principals of partnering, common strategic goals, results achieved, inclusion of senior level stakeholders and decision makers in the process, problems overcome, lessons learned, and evidence of a culture change. A multi-year track record of successful application of strategic partnership is expected. Both internal strategic partnering achievement between two or more departments in a single organization and external strategic partnering achievement between two or more organizations are considered for this Award.
Excellence in Partnering Facilitation Award
The Excellence in Partnering Facilitation Award honors the outstanding facilitators who have embraced the IPI mission to develop high trust relationships and partnered organizational cultures. Winners will have successfully led teams in the implementation of IPI’s best practices for an integrated partnering program, both at the project and strategic levels. Individuals who receive this award have modeled behavior for effective partnering facilitators, contributed to the development and training of other facilitators, provided evidence of successful project teams and strategic partnerships, documented use of best practices, demonstrated how they helped their teams implement partnering, and provide recommendations and support from both projects and organizations. A multi-year track record of successful application of an integrated partnering program is expected.
The President's Award recognizes the outstanding contributions of an individual on behalf of IPI and its mission to develop high trust relationships and partnered organizational cultures. Winners will have provided exceptional leadership and service to IPI and its members and will model the collaborative behavior at the core of IPI’s mission.
This honor is awarded at the discretion of the President of the Board of Directors.
